Project: Fast Daily Driver with Turbo Upgrade
Customer Request | Goal: Torque-rich and responsive throughout the rev range

For this client, I performed a complete performance upgrade with the goal of creating a powerful and reliable daily driver, suitable for both street use and sporty driving. The client requested a car with plenty of punch across the entire rev range and was ultimately very pleased with the result.

Work Performed:

Standalone ECU Installation:
The original engine management system was replaced with a MaxxECU. This provides maximum control and tuning options. Highly recommended for anyone driving that dreadful LH2.4.

Custom Exhaust Manifold:
Designed for minimal backpressure and perfect placement of the turbo. The fit and flow are matched to the engine and turbo.

Turbo System:
Installation of a high-quality Speedshop Ter Stege GT2860RS turbo. This was chosen based on its fast spool and sufficient top-end capacity.

Intercooler & Pipework:
Custom intercooler and fully custom-made intercooler pipes in polished aluminum. Cleanly and functionally positioned with minimal pressure drop.

Full Stainless Steel Exhaust System:
In-house 3” stainless steel (304) exhaust system from turbo to bumper, with the perfect balance of flow, sound, and comfort.

Result:
A fast, torquey car that drives smoothly in everyday traffic but also delivers sporty performance when required. The combination of thoughtful design, high-quality components, and craftsmanship ensures reliability and driving pleasure.
